Great location on the High Street, and good price. Room was well done, clean and very stylish. The lift wasnt working, which made the labyrinth of corridors interesting with a suitcase, but Ernest was very helpful. This is style that you dont get in modern hotels, it is a great modernisation of a very old building. Only issue was parking - 200 yards on cobbled street wheeling my suitcase.

The room was lovely, and the hotel is in a perfect position located right on the high street; just a few steps away from Guildford's many restaurants and shops.

An elegant and historic hotel in the very center of Guildford. I appreciated the atmosphere of the place, the care in such an historical hotel and the kindness of the staff. The room was silent although located on the side of High Street. Good value for money!

We spent the night here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, having had our wedding meal at the hotel on our big day. We were certainly not disappointed by the room, it was lovely with a huge 4 poster bed as well as a comfortable sitting room and nice bathroom.
